Born on Oahu, Hawaii Kent moved to Oregon after high school following his sister’s path to discover the “mainland.” Kent’s passion for capturing the moment and helping client’s succeed started with being the go-to photographer at family events, vacations, and high school sports. After years behind the lens, his eye for beauty and feel for the craft developed into what RETO Media is today.

“I remember looking at photos as a kid and was blown away that you could snap a moment in time, freeze that moment, then have the ability to transcend back to that very moment days, months and even years later. It’s a joy to combine that with my heart to serve, and to use my art and skills to help others in need and to assist them in succeeding.”

What’s your favorite part about owning Reto?

I love being able to use our gifts to help our clients succeed and to be able to work directly with so many wonderful people. I also feel blessed to have a team of incredible individuals that work hard and well with each other, but at the same time know how to laugh and have fun together while pursuing our mission to help our clients elevate their marketing.

What’s life like for you outside of work?

Outside of work, we love being close to our two daughters and seeing the world through their eyes has made life so much more fascinating and fun. We constantly find entertainment in just spending time with them. They have fun and unique personalities that crack us up and amaze us at the same time. We love simply staying at home, playing in our backyard and around our neighborhood, but also love traveling and experiencing new and fun adventures together. Our golden retriever, Hurley (named after the character from Lost), is also a huge part of our family. He gets so much love from the girls, likely too much love at times, haha.

What’s your favorite part about working with Holly?

I love that she’s always been there for me and I love knowing I have someone who sees the sacrifice I make and the reasons I make them. I know not everyone can work with their significant other, but for us it’s been a huge blessing and has brought us closer to one another. I love that I get to do life with her. She truly makes me a better person.
